Book Study

You might remember that at our last Youth Group meeting I encouraged you to be reading a Christian book at all times, just to stimulate and encourage your spiritual growth. Well, the group that meets on Thursday mornings (which consists of me, Kurtis, Kenneth, Cecelia, Vanessa, Breanna and Rachel) is considering a book discussion that might help motivate you to do just that.
The book is:
A "breviary" just means "a concise account", and the book lives up to its name. It isn't very long, but it's an INCREDIBLE read that'll probably radically change the way you think of sin and your own spiritual growth. But it's not an in-your-face book, believe it or not. Despite the subject, it's VERY encouraging.
It'll blow your mind and pop your capillaries. It eliminates varicose veins and gives furry animals a shiny new coat. You're going to love it.
We'll meet at 6:00 a.m. at the church office, as usual, and there won't be any pressure to have anything read for the morning - we'll just all read at our own pace and discuss before we pray for one another. We'll start on the 18th, so you'll have time to order the book.
